Absolute Truth

Two philosophers are having a discussion one day, and it goes something like this:

Philosopher 1:
Actually, it doesn’t matter what you believe. What matters is that it makes sense to you. Besides, there’s no such thing as absolute truth anyway, because everything’s relative.
Philosopher 2:
Is that true?
Philosopher 1:
Absolutely.

Think about it.

  1. Brian,
It just goes to show you that philosophers don't kno everything. There is such a thing as absolute Truth. It comes from God through Holy Scripture. We may not understand it, but we must accept it. That's where Faith comes in. While we must study His Divine Truth, and try to understand it, it is more important that we accept it try to apply it to our daily lives. That truly is the challenge; to live according to His Truth even when we don't understand it and to Trust in His Divine Providence and Grace. God is Truth and He will not be outdone in generosity. One day, when we see Him face-to-face, we will understand. For now Faith, Hope, Love, and Trust are sufficient.
    Paul
P.S. I would enjoy hearing your thoughts
